CityCat & Ferry

Take a ride on a CityCat down the Brisbane River and you’ll enjoy some of the city’s best views. CityCats operate every day and stop at the South Bank River Terminal on the Clem Jones Promenade. The inner-city ferry travels between the CBD, North Quay, and Kangaroo Point, stopping at South Bank Terminals 1 and 2 on the Clem Jones Promenade. If you're looking to save some cash, take advantage of the free CityHopper, which visits South Bank daily.

Bus

South Bank is connected to Brisbane’s Busway with buses departing regularly from South Bank and Cultural Centre Stations. South Bank Busway Station provides the closest access to the Parklands, Little Stanley Street, Goodwill Bridge, and Queensland Maritime Museum. Cultural Centre Station provides the nearest access to South Bank’s Cultural Centre including the Queensland Art Gallery, Queensland Museum, and Queensland Performing Arts Centre. Plan your journey on a bus from your location.

Train

South Bank has two train stations, both conveniently located on Grey Street, South Bank. Trains run regularly from the South Bank and South Brisbane Stations. South Bank Station provides the closest access to The Parklands, Little Stanley precinct, the Goodwill Bridge, and the Queensland Maritime Museum. South Brisbane Station provides the closest access to South Bank’s Cultural Centre including the Queensland Art Gallery, Queensland Museum, and Queensland Performing Arts Centre. Taxi & Rideshare

There are taxis located throughout South Bank. You can find ready-to-go taxis along Grey Street (next to The Emporium!) or book a taxi from your preferred rider online

Entry is via Tribune or Glenelg Streets and the South Bank parking prices are below. For traffic flow, please pay at the pay stations (located at the lifts and main stairwells) before returning to your car. If required, you can also pay via credit card at the gates upon exiting. The car park has a height restriction of 2.1m.

Monthly Parking Special

Receive unlimited 24 hour parking Monday to Friday (excludes Public Holidays). Contact the car park office to arrange the application form on (07) 3867 2022 or email car.park@south-bank.net.au.

Morning Parking Special

Must enter after 5am and exit before 9am – $2. Subject to change without notice. Please check the car park signage rates prior to entering.

Early Bird Parking

Enter before 9:30am and exit before 7pm for a flat rate of $18. Available Monday to Friday only. You must park on Lower Level B2. Early bird validation is automated by cameras on Level B2.

Free Recharging for Electric Vehicles

For a limited time, electric vehicle recharging will be free during South Bank Car Park operational hours for customers that pay daily ticketed parking. Four specially marked bays are located on Level 1, Section E.
